The Earth Horse

One of my close friends, who is also responsible for introducing me to the world of fae, has written a short story for herself.  It is a beautiful work about a kelpie! This is a highly recommended read, especially if you like Anthology of Faeries!

This short story will most likely appear in my anthology as a bonus addition.

The temporary cover is one of my book cover trial creations. ^.^

Faeries, Faeries Everywhere!

Oh dear! I have come to such a dilemma!  So far I have written 29 short stories that will be entered into the book. Not all of them have been published on wattpad yet, but I am still unsure if I am going to release them all or not.

I still need to come up with many more. ^.^  So many faeries and types of faeries to choose from!!!  It is such an exciting selection!

So far, most of the fae that I have chosen for the stories have included leprechauns, Sidhe, Tuatha de Danann, and Pixies with some here and there about Ly Urg. However, there are still so many more to choose from! Inspiration lately has been rather difficult, but I have been trying to move around from place to place in order to get settled in for classes to start again. Moving to another country is hard. @.@

There are still a lot of fae that I haven't even begun to touch. I want to do more with kelpies and selkies. I think they are fascinating!

I was able to write some short poems as well, and two that give homage to Beltaine and Samhaine.

I hope to have some artwork for covers and illustrations for characters soon. ^.^

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Recently, I have gotten quite a few questions from people wondering "why". Why are my faeries so nasty?  Because in history, mythologies and the original experiences with faeries, the fae are NOT friendly or very nice.  Often lately, you see more and more fairy tales about romance and love and happily ever after. I feel that it is time to bring back fairy tales from the past, where there was not always a "happily ever after".
One thing about the old fairy tales, is that they portray happiness, but not without loss. There is usually always a sacrifice of some kind that leads the main character to the final period. There is a specific way of speaking that the dialogue and content contain, that not even I am able to capture the timeless-ness properly. For this, I do deeply apologize.
However, I do not apologize for making you cry, laugh, smile, raise eyebrows, facepalm, or for making you frightened. I want my stories to capture emotions and bring out the "inner you" that enjoys reading and story telling.
You probably have noticed that all of these stories follow a repetitive pattern, a specific style or trait that makes some of the stories seem as though they run together. This is done on purpose, and because I feel that the repetition is a good trait that makes the stories "mine".   Repetition is quite common in most genuine fairy tales, since they help to hold the reader and follow a smooth (or sometimes not so smooth) pattern that leads to the conclusion. Though short, these stories need the repetition.
Welcome!
Welcome to my blog! I am super excited to have you all here. ^_^  So much has happened since I first began writing this anthology, and I hope to continue writing more!
I want to thank you all for your support, and I sincerely hope you continue to return and read!
You are probably wondering what I will be writing about in a tiny little old BLOG about a book-in-progress?  Updates on stories, story ideas, sneak previews, fan art, artworks, and a lot of other fun things! I hope that this can become a super community one day!
Please make yourself comfortable and enjoy the land of faeries!
"When you open the doors to your mind and see all that can't be seen, then you know that you have truly seen Faerie. Take with that opportunity and give something to someone; honey, bread, milk, or even a little bundle of flowers. All of these would help to put a smile on someone's face, even if they don't believe."
